The typical areas of application
The Laser Particle Sizer ANALYSETTE 22 MicroTec plus, is an universally applicable instrument for the determination of the particle size distribution of dry solids. It is suitable for the utilization in quality and process control. Due to the highly flexible programmability of the entire dispersion and measuring process, it is also very apt for research and development.
Modular System
The measuring cells of the MicroTec plus are located in practical cartridges that can be easily and quickly exchanged when switching between wet and dry measurements for example. And this completely without changing any hoses or modifying the instrument!
Dry dispersion unit
The dispersion unit for dry samples prepares agglomerates using mechanical and pneumatic forces. The dosed sample is supplied by a new high-frequency feeder (hard-anodized) - continuous and residue-free. The dispersion takes place in an annular gap Venturi nozzle through air fins with aerodynamic wave formation at the nozzle outlet and high flow speed in the nozzle channel. The minimal required sample quantity is below 1 cm3.
Freely programmable
The adjustment of the dispersion pressure is automatic and computer-controlled. Measurement processes can be freely programmed and saved, so the entire measurement is fully automatic.
The included FRITSCH MaS control software for the simple operation, complete free programmability for maximum flexibility, especially fast and efficient cleaning and many additional advantages, lighten your tasks and ensure the quality of your measuring results.

Connections
Ideally, for the operation of the dry dispersion unit, is an oil-, water- and particle-free supply of compressed air with a pressure of at least 5 bar and a flow rate of at least 125 l/min. An external exhaust system is necessary to vacuum the
sample material, which can be ordered as a FRITSCH accessory together with the instrument.
The equipment
The laser particle sizer ANALYSETTE 22 MicroTec plus includes the software MaS control as a standard component. This software is based on a relational database, in which all user entries, parameters and results are saved for later inspection.
The instrument can be connected to a typical, standard WINDOWS PC of the customer, as well as a printer for outputting the results. Computers (with or without installed software) and printers can be ordered as accessories. Maintenance and recalibration of your Laser Particle Sizers available on request.
